Ladies, do you enjoy singing? Then Eastern Lights Choir wants you!
We are a friendly group of ladies who get together for fun, companionship and the feel good factor derived from singing in a choir. We got together a few years ago to take part in a Women’s Institute singing competition. We didn’t win, but enjoyed singing together so much that we continued meeting after the competition.
We sing a wide variety of songs and take part in performances approximately three times a year. There is no obligation to perform, but it is a good uplifting experience.
We meet at Leven Recreation Hall, East Street, Leven, East Yorkshire HU17 5NG, twice a month on the second and fourth Mondays from 2pm until 3.30pm.
We pay approximately £3 per session subscription, payable upfront in January and July. Our choir is open to any lady from 18 years upwards. We would love to see some new faces in our choir; you are welcome to join us for two free Monday sessions to see if we suit you.
NO AUDITION REQUIRED and NO NEED TO BE A WI MEMBER.
